As soon as you enter the entrance hall, transforming the entrance hall into a "transition zone for calming the body and mind". Welcomes the fatigue of returning home in a calm manner, while also ensuring the privacy inside the private residence. The design of the public area abandons unnecessary physical partitions and adopts a completely open design, connecting the living room and dining room to create a spacious and transparent visual experience.
The design team used the collision of ceiling beams and wall materials to clearly indicate the division of functional areas in the open space, visually separating them without affecting the sense of transparency. When sunlight shines into the room through the curtains, it reflects the warm interaction of the family, adding a warm atmosphere.
The transition area between the living room and the tatami area is carefully set up with a display shelf, which can not only display the owner's collection, but also become a beautiful view in the space, giving the small space a rich sense of hierarchy.
